About the Instructor

Ms Mukherjee is a distinguished vocalist from Jharkhand. She has been a regular artist in Khayal & Nazrulgeeti on Prasar Bharti, All India Radio (Kolkata Station) from the year 2010 onwards. She has obtained her Master’s in Vocal music from Rabindra University, Kolkata. She received an Award of Scholarship in the field of Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal) from Ministry of Culture, Govt of India for two years from 2007-09 & won the prestigious reward of Junior Fellowship in the field of classical music awarded to outstanding people in the field of culture for two years 2016-17 from Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (Ministry of Culture, Govt of India). She is both skilled as a vocalist and knowledgeable about singing and vocal anatomy. She is able not only to explain concepts in a way that will help you to understand them and to apply them, but does so with patience, flexibility and creativity.
